As every one knows that today’s modern window coverings are blinds.They look nice providing privacy and with them it’s an option if you still want wall coverings such as curtains.However,looking at them is one thing and cleaning is another.Nobody wants to spend few days in removing dust from these blinds.
So how to make cleaning the blinds easy?.Weekly blind dusting is probably the best way since a lot of layers of dust can accumulate without weekly cleaning.Use a lamb wool duster since it attracts the dust particles better than other dusters.
You can also clean mini- blinds by using paint brush. Place some towels beneath them to catch any excess dust. For a thorough cleaning, take off the blinds and immerse them in water in a bathtub. To remove grease from the blinds, spray a cleaner on them and wipe them with a cloth. A wet cloth will clean even more and do the same thing on the other side of the blinds.
This method is the fastest. Wear cotton gloves and dip your fingers in a solution of one teaspoon ammonia to one quart water than run your fingers through the blinds. You can also use dryer sheets to clean blinds. These sheets will remove any static so that blinds will not attract dust.
